This Season Is Going to Look a Little Different

This spring at Sarah Grey Pick Farm, we’re taking a meaningful pause. After seasons of growth and heavy planting prior to our stewardship of the land, we’ve made the decision not to open for the 2026 season. Instead, we’re giving the soil the time and care it needs to recover so that future blooms can be even more vibrant, healthy, and sustainable. This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one. For the land, for the bulbs, and for the long-term experience we want to continue sharing with you. While the fields rest, we’ll be behind the scenes nurturing the land and preparing for seasons to come.

Why We've Chosen to Pause

Sarah Grey Pick Farm has always been rooted in respect - for the land, for nature’s timing, and for the experience we create together. Over time, we’ve learned that beautiful blooms don’t come from rushing the process. They come from patience, care, and doing things the right way. By allowing the soil to recover and restore, we’re investing in the future of this farm so that when we return, it’s with fields that truly reflect an experience that you, our guests, deserve.

We know how much this experience means to our visitors - from first-time explorers to families who return year after year. That’s why we’re choosing honesty over expectation, and land health over promise dates.

Tulips depend on weather, soil, sunlight, and timing and right now (as it is for every season), we’re letting Mother Nature take the lead.

Our goal is to return in a future season when the fields are ready to offer the full experience you know and love.
